Arrival on Time

  • Your appointment time is specially reserved for you!
  • Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive on time for your appointment
  • We no longer stagger bookings which used to provide some flexibility in arrival times
  • If you arrive 1-5 minutes late you will be offered an express visit with the charge remaining the same
  • Arrival more than 5 minutes late will not allow enough time for an express visit, the appointment will be missed with visit charges applying

Cancellation Policy

If appointments are repeatedly missed or cancelled without notice, there is a lost opportunity for someone who might really need care that day…and some day that might be you. Therefore, we reserve the right to charge for the missed appointment.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance other than exceptions below
  • If we cannot fill the visit from our wait list the charge is the full cost of the visit
  • If we can fill the visit from our wait list – an administration fee of $5 will be applied
  • PLEASE NOTE: We cannot bill MSP or ICBC for missed appointments
  • During the Covid-19 Crisis the cancellation policy will be waived if the cancellation is due to you having to change your answers to the Covid-19 screening questions
  • At all times cancellations due to illness or genuine emergencies will not be charged
  • Please do respect our time and the need of others and be honest with regards to this
  • If your appointment is on a Monday or after a holiday when we were closed, cancel as soon as you know you cannot attend the appointment or first thing on the day of your appointment. You can do this via online booking, call, text or email.

Direct Billing Terms

We are delighted to offer the convenience of direct billing for the Provincial Government MSP Part payment plan and ICBC. Sorry after 26 Aug 2021 we will no longer offer Extended health Direct Billing. We can issue you a receipt for you to make your Extended Health Claims. Sorry we no longer offer Worksafe Direct Billing or assessment reporting.

ICBC

  • It is your responsibility to know the status of your ICBC coverage prior to making an appointment and that if service fees cannot be charged to the insurers you are responsible for payment of the service fees

MSP Billing

  • MSP (the BC Provincial Medical Services Plan) may pay for part of visit – $23 per visit for 10 visits per year. More information is here
  • If you want us to check your eligibility or bill MSP, please provide your Personal Health Number, your Date of Birth and your Postal Address

In Person Service Availability

  • In person service is available by appointment only
  • Please use online booking or call, text or email and we will respond when we can

Respectful Encounters

  • We truly appreciate you choosing our office
  • We do expect for all our staff to be treated respectfully
  • Any abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and either staff or practitioners can choose to discontinue service if it is deemed that the encounter is not healthy for any party

Community Day Visits

As of Mid March 2020 – Community Day is currently on hold
