New Model of Serving – Remote Support Rather Than A Receptionist to Continue

We have decided to continue with a non-receptionist model of practice.  This means that Dr Tucker will continue to be supported by Claire Hale remotely.

This has partly come out of necessity given the current situation, but has also come out of us having taken some time to reflect on where we should put most of our energy in serving you and the community, while also achieving a better work/life balance.

  • It is our belief that Dr Tucker’s experience, knowledge and skilled adjusting techniques are what is most important in helping you achieve your goals in Chiropractic care
  • For us to be able to provide a caring and efficient service we need to make sure we maintain a healthy work/life balance which allows for our own time with family, healthy practices, other projects and continuing education.
  • We are a very small operation and we do not currently intend to expand to a large operation that has lots of staff
  • We acknowledge some clients’ frustration in things changing. Some clients have fed back the desire for the return of a receptionist on site and more hours of call/text/email response.  We understand that it is frustrating to not receive a service that you are used to. We feel that we are providing a (hopefully) happy compromise in providing a lot of quick response, with the back up of online booking at other times.
  • So far we have received a lot of positive feedback regarding the online booking. We have addressed feedback and questions in our online booking post here

Some Changes to Expect:

  • Access to the office is now by appointment only
  • Claire will respond rapidly to calls, text and emails during appointment hours
  • Outside appointment hours there may be a delayed response
  • We encourage you to use online booking if you want to book an appointment straight away
  • Online booking allows you to book an appointment immediately and avoids the frustration of availability changing between the time voicemail messages, texts or emails have been sent back and forth
